Dental Care and your Pet

*   What can I do for home dental care?

The most effective is daily brushing.  If this is not an option, then CET Chews 3 to 4 times a week or daily Aquadent water additive would be acceptable substitutions.  Make sure your pet’s teeth are examined by a veterinary professional twice a year.

*   Why is dental care important for my pet?

Just like people, untreated dental disease can lead to chronic pain or even severe life-threatening conditions including heart and kidney disorders.

*   How often should my pet have a dental?

Twice yearly evaluations of your pet’s teeth are ideal.  During these   examinations, the urgency of professional care will be determined.
